The public garage is located in Gruž, in the immediate vicinity of the city swimming pool. It spans longitudinally along the Ante Starčević Street and its position follows the given construction direction. Vehicles access the building via Vukovarska Street and pedestrians can enter the garage from Ante Starčević Street as well. The building consists of two underground floors, a ground floor and five floors, the last of which is used as a public space that can be accessed by a panoramic elevator on the northern façade of the building. The traffic inside the building is one-way or two-way with use of ramps. The planned garage has a total capacity of 404 parking spaces. The façade of this infrastructural building is to be clad in perforated metal panels, which give the garage a specific visual identity. The project also aims to realize the synergy of art and architecture (ART GARAGE concept) by artists painting each floor, which will boost the visual value of the space.
