The concept of designing garden fields was developed in cooperation with Assoc. Ph.D. Mara Marić, mag.ing.prosp.arch. The baroque volute of the emblem of the historic villa Bozdari-Škaprlenda was reinterpreted as a garden figure.
The southern garden of the historic villa is articulated by the topography of the terrain. The steep rock freely enters the garden area and forms a harmonious whole with it. In the western garden, picturesquely named “giardino segreto”, the element of water has been reintroduced in order to obtain an additional visual and acoustic experience of the space. Reconstruction of the original elements; cisterns, niches of nymphs and an octagonal basin; the main building material of the western garden becomes stone, not plant. Also, the project envisages the reconstruction of the utility area, which is accessed from the western garden, and it houses all the technical areas of the historic villa.
