Božica Hotel – Annexe
In the project for this residence, we wanted to create a contemporary design with minimal impact on the environment. We decided to include the surrounding nature into our design, with glass surfaces that connect interiors and exteriors, sea-facing views, carefully selected natural materials such as wood and stone, and a neutral colour palette.
With the open-space concept and various outdoor activities, we fully used the connection with the environment. We found great inspiration in the unspoiled surrounding nature, so we wanted to create a place where guests would spend time outside and truly experience the unique atmosphere.
Projects located in sensitive areas, like islands, where there is no dense construction, pose an additional challenge for architects, which must be met so that architecture can fit into the natural environment. In this project, the horizontal lines of hotel floors follow the layers of the terrain and the green roofs additionally emphasize the symbiosis of architecture and nature.
