On the occasion of the opening of Terminal C in May 2017, our office produced the Water Polo Players art installation. In 2016 Jug water polo club won a record of five trophies, which has never been achieved before so Dubrovnik Airport, as the proud sponsor of the club, decided to celebrate this success with an art installation, set up according to the idea of architect Lea Đurović Ruso, manager of our office. The architect recognized the importance of connecting architecture and modern art, especially in Dubrovnik, the town branded as the centre of cultural tourism.

The Water Polo art installation is the work of academic sculptor from Dubrovnik, Iris Lobaš Kukavičić, and it includes seven figures that float in the air and examine the movement of the human body in the water while evoking the game of water polo.
The author used a very specific and intriguing material: egg cartons, which have been shaped in a completely new art expression by a certain process of recycling of disposable material of sculptural form and exchange of full and empty and artistic reflection.
