Finest of Croatia is a special section of the Split Airport Duty-Free Shop, which presents autochthonous Croatian products. It aims to display a unique experience of the Croatian ethnological heritage and gastronomic offer, as well as excellent service.
The motif of the design is based on the chemical structure of the product, the hexagonal raster, which is presented on each product. Hexagonal polygons, where the products are presented, were created during the design process and completed the whole idea of the design. The materials, carefully selected to give a dose of luxury, are warm light maple and brass details. The range of products on hexagonal gondolas include selected wines, different types of cheese, olive oil, dried fruit, chocolate and organic cosmetics. The most specific feature of the new design is the tasting bar in the central part of the shop, an interactive space which provides passengers with the opportunity to try most famous delicacies Croatia has to offer – from the best selections of wines, awarded olive oils to different sweets.
